Who We Are

The heart and soul of ACTIV lies in the more than 115 members that supply us with the traditional and organic products for which we are known in Vanuatu. Our members are small producers, women's groups, associations and cooperatives from around the archipelago, representing over 4,000 people directly benefiting from our work in facilitating fair trade. 

Behind the scenes, our lovely board members work tirelessly to bring the wondrous traditions of Vanuatu to the world.

ACTIV is an hybrid organisation with ACTIV Association and its commercial arms ACTIV limited (100% shares) and Aelan Chocolate Makers (80% shares).

From  2012 to 2016, ACTIV was the local partner for the French Embassy Micro-projects program with more than 30,2 million of vatu funded into communities projects.
