Virgin Coconut oil factory

The Virgin Coconut Oil factory was built in September 2016. We decided to start this processing unit co-funded by World Vision Vanuatu after the path of the cyclone PAM in March 2015 to assist the women of the Etas Community (next to the ACTIV centre) to generate an income. The processing unit gives employment to more than 36 women who were trained to produce extra virgin coconut oil using the DME TM (Direct Micro Expellent) system (cold pressing of the oil).
